I’d like to report this new Mozilla project, which aims to simplify the release of media content on the web. It’s based on the HTMLMediaElement which has been normalized in an API trying to develop a new video-making experience. They say that it’s like jQuery for video so, the only thing to do is using it!

“Popcorn.js is an event system for HTML5 media developers. Think jQuery for video. You can leave the heavy lifting to Popcorn, and concentrate on what you do best: writing awesome code.”
